Set Design is basically the creation of theatrical,  television or movie scenery. It comprises of how the place is dressed up and what century is it depicting. A set holds a deeper meaning then just viewing what is showcased. It makes the audience react in a certain way and think in a certain way. It also makes the story much more clearer and tells the viewers where exactly the actors and what could be going on.

For my opening sequence i had 3 options for the location out of which i chose:

The reason for me to choose this location was because this was the closest to my original idea of a room of a working class person. As soon as the audience looks at the setting they instantly know about the circumstances the character is living in. They also start questioning the situations and also get answers as to why the person did that!! Maybe because they needed money or they wanted to show off to their friends but didn't have enough money.
