It is mentioned in the set design to depict a mood or to make audience understand the significance of some scene. eg building, landmark etc
1. Mirror
Since my opening sequence is a thriller and we've shown a house of a person that is not very well off ,this mirror therefore gives a very rustic, old look which compliments the concept of creating an impact on the audience and giving them an idea of the characters background. It also intensifies certain scenes by just being in it.
