HAIR AND MAKEUP REFERENCES

LOOK 1:

MAKEUP:

Not much focus was applied on the makeup as i thought that my actress's natural, flawless skin was perfect for it. Just to make the features more prominent on screen a little bit of compact was used. Mascara was applied to lengthen the eyelashes so that it gives the illusion of bigger eyes. As the eyes play an important role in zoom in shots where the message is supposed to be delivered through the play of eyes it adds more expression to it. A dot (bindi) is placed in the centre of the forehead to deliver a typical Indian look. Also keeping in mind the status of the character,heavy make up was avoided as she is shown from a family that is not very well to do.

                                 

       



      
HAIR:  

Since my actress has short hair there was not much we could to with the hair so we opted for the cliche school girl look with two ponytails with a little bit of her own style.

LOOK 2:

Makeup:

This scene required not much makeup as Aarya's face was covered with Splashes of fake blood. Again the main focus was on the eyes where mascara and eyeliner was made use of as it was a scene where her face was going to be seen in a close up and told to deliver a wicked look.

Hair:

As for the hair we chose to keep it open and a bit messy as we are revealing her actual true self in this scene and also keeping the fact in mind that she is not at school anymore so she can be as informal as she wishes.
