Genre is a type or a category according to which movies are sort. Every movie classify as a specific genre. A genre can be decided according to the conventions a movie follows. For example if the movie has a lot of use of blood, jumpscares, dark colour, entities, then it is likely to qualify as a horror film !! The different types of genres are:
- Science fiction
- Drama
- Action
- Adventure
- Romance
- Horror etc......
The genre that I am catering to for my opening sequence is drama/thriller. This type of genre is usually characterised by feelings of mystery, suspense and excitement where the mood is set by the use of dark colours like black, blue, red, purple etc....
Movies that qualify in my genre are:
1) Shutter Island
2)Train to Busan
3)Cold comes the night
