James Cameron is another extremely talented individual who's been making some extra-ordinary movies since the past 30-35 years in the hollywood industry. Some of his mega hits include, The Terminator, Avatar, Titanic, Star wars and so on........Even though he has made only one 3D film in his entire career (avatar) he is considered one of most successful 3D film makers according to the box-office. Cameron took around 10 years working on the project for Avatar....and it did pay off........the movie won several awards as well as appraisals from the audience. He makes his movies with such intricacy that a person feels that they're actually experiencing it.

This movie is about the largest ship afloat at that time, Titanic which sank in the North Atlantic Ocean on 15th April, 1912 after colliding with a gigantic iceberg while on its way to New York. The OS starts with showing a scene in where people have come to see off their friends,relatives and family who are travelling to the USA by the Titanic. The colour of the scene is very vintage and faded potraying a flashback or the olden time. The dressing sense indicates that most of the people travelling on the ship belonged to the elite class. The OS is supported by the theme song 'my heart will go on' by Celine Dion in the background. As it is a romance-tragedy between a couple, Jack and Rose the song fits perfectly. The opening credit's fonts are kept very simple with a white, capital,san-serif font. They start by naming the distribution companies (paramount and twentieth century fox) moving on to the production house company and lastly the cast and crew. The title just fades in with a white, serif font with a background of water. Lastly it shows submarines looking for something in the deep waters throws light on the fact that its the recent times as there is use of machines.The overall effect of the OS was impactful as it succeeded in delivering the story line.
