Storyboarding

Storyboarding Storyboarding is a graphic representation of what story is going to be shown, shot by shot. It is made up of pictures of every scene with notes of what is happening in every scene. Storyboarding is important because it is like the visual map that'll help the directors/producers/designers to work on their final aim and also prevent them from deviating from their original plan.

Typography

TYPOGRAPHY One should keep in mind that texts do play an important role in movies while inserting the title or while giving credits. Typography is the art and technique of arranging type to make written language legible, readable and appealing when displayed. They are also used to set an impact on the audience's mind in the initial few seconds of the movie so it needs to be really creative and should be able to catch their eyes. EXAMPLES: Beauty and the beast is an american musical fantasy film produced by disney. Therefore the font is very creative with cursive writing. The ending words are shown as if they are frozen. This has to do a lot with what the film is going to consist and is like an overview of what the film could be about. The background, use of colours and the font itself suggests that the genre of this film is horror. The title 'FRIDAY THE 13TH' is

Mood board concept

Mood board is a cluster of images, texts that are aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. They generally evoke a mood and also used to explain the genres or a concept a film, book, or music is following. Various mood boards potray different kinds of feelings for example: This mood board has a very eerie look to it. The colours used itself sets the mood of a dark, depressed environment around it. The use of objects such as drinks, pills and poker shows that this could be used to depict someone whos creepy or mentally disturbed .
