Scene 1
INT. HOSPITAL- AFTERNOON
AARYA,
A teenage girl
whose mother passed away when she was very little hence she lives with her
father (Rakesh). They are not very well to do but her father does everything he
can to provide her with the wants and needs just for her betterment. She is
very disregardful towards her father and doesn’t value the amount of efforts he
puts behind her.
RAKESH:
A man in his
mid 40’s, a lone parent who works day in and day out to provide his child with
the best.
ECG monitor is
beeping.
Screen fades
in and out slowly moving the focus on to Rakesh who is lying on the hospital
bed.
High angle
shot.
Cut to:
AARYA
(Sitting on a
chair next to her father’s bed, seems worried)
Dolly in.
Rakesh and
Aarya in one frame
Dissolve to:
Flashback

INT. POOR
HOUSEHOLD- EVENING
RAKESH:
Opens the door
with a present in the hand and places it on the table
Tracking
Mid-shot
AARYA:
Enters from
the door and sees the present kept on the table. Opens the gift, looks at her
father in disgust and throws the present on the floor.

RAKESH
(picking the
dress up with dejection)

HOUSEHOLD- NIGHT
AARYA:
(Rakesh is
asleep)

a knife in her hand
Calls out her
father
“Baba”,
murmurs a song

INT.HOSPITAL
AARYA:
crying, suddenly breaks out into a creepy
smile, murmurs the same song.
Zoom in.
